Do you "want" to get to the next level and beyond?

This is a very important question - do you "WANT" to get to the next level and beyond? Without 100% commitment to your journey to get to the destination, you won't ever reach your full potential. What do you need to work on? There are three main areas you want to master for optimum sports performance:

Mental Toughness, Physical conditioning and skills, and Sports Nutrition. Think of them as a team - if one is missing the team suffers.

The importance of setting goals:

Just think of shooting an arrow in the air. There is no target, no destination. It will just land where it lands. However, if you have a target to hit and aim and train to hit the bulls-eye, just imagine how much more success you will have? Eventually you will hit that bulls-eye with the proper training and practice mentally and physically. You will know what is getting in your way. You may just be aiming for the outside of the target and not know. Whatever the case, you need a target!

Once you have a target, the universal laws can start to help you.

Once you have laser focus for the bulls-eye and consistency with your work ethic, do you believe you will hit that bull-eye? Of Course you will.

Here is a man that hasn't won for a while in golf and can't seem to get his game back. There could be many things stopping him, but mostly it is his mind that is getting in his way.   • your patience
  • your sense of humor
  • the fact that you can get her to take the sport seriously, but herself, not so seriously
  • you can make her understand it is hard work, but there should also be some fun involved.
  • you let her know it is an integrated process as far as their body/mind goes - including nutrition and a good mental attitude; a combination of rest and training
  • letting her know the importance of goal-setting and  helping her to set them for herself
  • letting her know not to dwell too much on what's happened in the past (negatively), but to look forward to what comes next 

I know that she hasn't always accepted those things at face value, but with experience, she is beginning to understand how all those things fit together.
